CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Shweta Deshpande is Assistant Professor of French Studies at the 365体育直播 Institute of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts. She completed her M.A. and M.Phil. with a concentration in Translation and Interpretation from JNU, and holds a Ph.D. in French from the Graduate Center, the City University of New York (CUNY).

    She has taught French language and literature courses to both graduate and undergraduate students at Fordham University, Hunter College, Brooklyn College and the Graduate Center

Area of Expertise

Her research interests include post and neocolonial Indo-Francophone literatures, Diaspora and Migration, and Translation Studies.
